Post Production Strengths

One strength that we had was the choice of music that we added. For example, for our last scene, we wanted there to be some form of conflict between the friends and Nathan. We added a shuffle beat at first, then we added a guitar riff to follow on with the beat. Then we added another piece of music to go along with the scene. This technique worked out really well as it set the intense mood for the scene and let the viewers know that some form of verbal conflict was going to ensue.

Another strength was the choice of sound effects that we used. For example, we added a running sound effect for the part where the friends were watching a video of someone who looked to be the one robbing people. This worked out well as it let the viewers know what they were watching in the video. Also, this would relate to the brief as a video circulating on social media could be taken out of context, which could be dangerous for someone as it could put them in an uncomfortable position.

Another strength would be the voice levels. An example would be the scene where the main character, Mason, gets upset as he has been framed for something he didn't do. We decreased the sound of what his friends were saying, then we had the voice of him reacting be set as loud. This worked well as this would present how Mason feels angry. Also, this worked well in terms of the brief as the character is displaying a furious emotion, which would imply how someone may feel after being framed on social media.
